MICHAEL LaCROIX (né 1973, Windsor, Canada) a reçu un prix de SOCAN au Canada pour son pièce de piano solo, Potens Nuntius, et reçemment a gagné le troisième prix au le Quatrième International Prof. Ivan Spassov Concours de Composition á la Bulgarie pour son ouevre, Twelve Faces of the Emerald. Sa musique a étais joué en travers les États Unis et le Canada par les ensembles proéminentes y compris: The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra avec chef d’orchestre Cliff Colnot, Eighth Blackbird, the Flux String Quartet, Ensemble Green, et Third Angle. Il a reçu aussi les performances de sa musique á la France, en Italie, et au deux tours différentes en travers l’Amérique Sud. Les premières prochain inclues une pièce nouvelle d’orchestre a commandé par le Windsor Symphony Orchestra au Canada, aussi qu’un duo pour les membres anciens de l’Arditti Quartet, violist Garth Knox et cellist Rohan de Saram en Italie. His music has been performed across the United States and Canada by prominent ensembles including: The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra with conductor Cliff Colnot, Eighth Blackbird, the Flux String Quartet, Ensemble Green, and Third Angle. He has also received performances of his music in France, Italy, and on two separate tours across South America.
