Following up on the historical avant-gardists who problematized the notion of writing and inscription, the authors find, in the computer, an instrument for formalization enabling a liberation of relations between signs and meaning. From the first texts generated by computer (Théo Lutz, Nanni Baslestrini) to animated digital poetry, from hypertext to multiple Internet experiments, today new forms of writing and reading question text and literature in the era of hypermedia.
