Cette journée est organisée par le programme européen STARTS RESIDENCIES coordonné par l’Ircam dans le cadre de l’initiative STARTS (Science, Technology and the ARTS) et visant à promouvoir la contribution d’artistes à l’innovation technologique. Les premiers résultats de ce programme de résidences artistiques en lien avec des projets de recherche technologique dans toute l’Europe seront présentés en présence des artistes et chercheurs impliqués. Les lauréats de son appel 2018 seront annoncés et les enjeux actuels de STARTS seront débattus en présence de responsables institutionnels et des communautés concernées.

This day is organized by the European program STARTS RESIDENCIES coordinated by IRCAM, and part of the H2020 European STARTS initiative (Science, Technology and the ARTS). These residencies promote artistic contributions in technological innovation. The first results of this artistic residency program in connection with technological research throughout Europe will be presented by the artists and researchers involved. The laureates of the 2018 call will be announced and the current issues surrounding STARTS will be discussed with the heads of institutions and communities involved.
