The SkataRT environment is built at the intersection of a research and development work on concatenative corpus-based sound synthesis (CataRT) and a European research project on the issue of voice imitation as a tool for sketching and rapid prototyping (Skat-VG). It thus offers different fields of application and use, ranging from musical creation to sound design, through the exploration of sound corpuses, or performance. From a technological point of view, it is embodied in a "Max for Live" device developed by Manuel Poletti and Thomas Goepfer (Music Unit), in the framework of a collaboration with ISMM and PDS teams of Ircam. After a brief general introduction, a demonstration of the current state of development of the software and its various sound possibilities will be given during the presentation.
