Cesare Saldicco

Le compositeur italien Cesare Saldicco (né en 1976) se consacre très jeune à l'étude du piano, obtenant son diplôme au Conservatoire de Perugia en 1999. La même année, dans ce même Conservatoire, il s'inscrit au cours supérieur de Composition de Fabio Cifariello et au cours de Musique électronique de Luigi Ceccarelli où il obtient respectivement ses diplômes en 2007 et 2004. Par la suite, il participera à des cours avec Helmutt Lachenmann, Garvin Bryars, Salvatore Sciarrino et Ivan Fedele, auprès duquel il suit actuellement le cursus de perfectionnement de l'Académie Sainte-Cécile à Rome. Sa musique est éditée par ArsPublica et Sconfinarte. Ses compositions ont été interprétées en Italie, en Grèce, en Belgique, en France, en Bulgarie, en Allemagne, en Suisse, en Finlande, au Chili, au Royaume Unis et retransmises à la Radio Télévision Italienne de la RAI. Il est le fondateur et président de l'Association Culturelle G.E.R.M.I. (Groupe Européen de Recherche Musicale Indépendante) et le producteur du Festival et du Concours de Compositions éponymes. - - The italian composer Cesare Saldicco (b. 1976) starts to playing the piano during his childhood and receives the superior diploma at Perugia’s Conservatory in 1999. He achieves the Electronic Music diploma with Luigi Ceccarelli in 2004. Under the expertise of Fabio Cifariello Ciardi, he graduates in Composition, Counterpoint and Fugue in 2007. Soon afterwards he attends lessons with Helmut Lachenmann, Gavin Bryars, Salvatore Sciarrino and Ivan Fedele, with whom he attends the PhD in Composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. His music is edited and published by ArsPublica and Sconfinarte and it has been performed in Italy, Greece, Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Chile, UK and broadcasted by the Italian National Radio RAI. He is the founder and headmaster of the Cultural Association G.E.R.M.I.
